Publication date: 01.12.2017

Since December, a program has been launched, according to which 9-year-old girls born in 2008 and 2009 are vaccinated against the papillomavirus free of charge.
The vaccine for applicants of other ages is paid.

The vaccine is administered from the age of 9 to both girls and boys from 9 to 13 years of age.
The vaccine is 2 doses, that is, it is done in 2 stages.
Teenagers and adults 14 years of age and older need 3 doses of the vaccine.

There are no age restrictions for vaccination older than 9 years. It is preferable to do this before the onset of sexual activity, although this vaccination can be given during sexual activity.
