Giving birth is one of the best and at the same time, most responsible events in a woman's life. When planning for childbirth, a woman's priority is a safe environment, conditions that are comfortable and close to a family setting, and qualified medical personnel whom she entrusts with the most significant event in her life – the birth of her baby.
The obstetric department of the Jordania Medical Center is staffed by a highly qualified, experienced, and reliable team of doctors. The clinic's obstetric sector is led by obstetrician-gynecologist, vice-president of the Georgian Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Professor Mamuka Nemsadze.
An environment focused on the family has been created in the obstetric department for the pregnant woman, the mother, and her newborn. The clinic features an individual delivery block equipped with modern technology, and comfortable various types of rooms tailored for both patients and their family members.
The center provides:
Management of pregnancies of any complexity, in both outpatient and inpatient settings;
All types of childbirth (physiological childbirth, cesarean section, complicated childbirth);
Physiological childbirth after a previous cesarean section;
Management of postpartum processes.
Neonatology service
Before birth, the baby is in a calm and comfortable environment, so it is very important for them to encounter a similarly supportive environment after birth. The Jordania Medical Center provides all the necessary conditions for the normal growth and development of newborns. The neonatology service is staffed by highly qualified medical personnel, led by an expert in pediatric critical care and neonatology from the Ministry of Health of Georgia, Professor, MD, Davit Tsibadze.
Our clinic's delivery blocks are equipped with top-level medical equipment, which monitors all vital functions of the mother, fetus, and the newborn. Currently, the qualified team of the neonatology service of the medical center ensures the use of modern approaches and standards in the birth of new life, similar to those followed by leading maternity hospitals worldwide:
„Skin-to-skin“ contact
Ensuring and promoting natural feeding;
Keeping the mother and newborn together and creating a family environment.
Every newborn in the facility is provided with 24-hour monitoring and supervision; all mandatory screening tests and vaccinations are carried out on-site.
Upon discharge from the maternity ward, parents are given recommendations on the care of the newborn and breastfeeding. They are informed about the timing and needs for the next visits to the doctor. We continue to care for your little ones even after discharge. At the Jordania Medical Center, it is possible to receive neonatal and pediatric services for the newborn.
